The volunteer instructors of the Big Bear Valley Ski Patrol, in addition to training new patrollers, offer a number of courses for the general public.  These courses are designed for those that enjoy our mountain wilderness areas to be able to recognize harzardous conditions found in backcountry areas and know how to respond to them.
